Prior to his role at Pret A Manger, Matagic held senior positions at John Lewis, where he was in charge of both insight and technology. His extensive experience in the field will undoubtedly bring valuable insights to Vue Cinemas. Matagic is set to start his new role on September 9 and will report directly to Vue’s CEO and founder, Tim Richards.
In addition to Matagic, Vue Cinemas has also welcomed Joost Ligthart as the new chief in Holland. Ligthart, who previously served as the Director of Operations at EuroParcs, will now be taking on the role of Netherlands Territory General Manager at Vue. With a background in managing holiday resorts and entertainment companies, Ligthart brings a wealth of experience to his new position. Richards expressed his excitement about having Ligthart on board, highlighting the company’s focus on providing the best possible experience for its customers in the Netherlands.
