The heart-wrenching film, “Nowhere Special,” directed by Uberto Pasolini and starring the talented James Norton, is gearing up for its theatrical release on April 26th. The storyline follows John, a devoted 35-year-old window cleaner who has raised his son, Michael, single-handedly after the child’s mother abandoned them. However, John’s world is turned upside down when he receives a devastating terminal diagnosis, leaving him with limited time to find a new family for Michael before he passes.

As the narrative unfolds, John’s character undergoes a profound transformation as he grapples with the weight of his imminent departure from his young son’s life. Initially resolute in his search for the “perfect” family for Michael, John begins to unravel under the pressure of this monumental decision. The film was brought to life through the efforts of Picomedia SRL, Nowhere Special Ltd., Avanpost/Digital Cube SRL, alongside Rai Cinema, with the invaluable support of Northern Ireland Screen and Eurimages. Cohen Media Group acquired the U.S. rights to the film at AFM in 2020, with a planned theatrical release that unfortunately had to be postponed due to the global pandemic.
